Privacy notice
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This notice explains how Lagoss Custom-made Furniture ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, have furniture made or fitted by us, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Lagoss Custom-made Furniture is the trading name of Marian Grebencea, a sole trader. Showroom (by appointment): 64 Pritchett Street, Aston, Birmingham B6 4EX. We are the controller of your information. Contact: phone or WhatsApp 07731 490361, or the form on our contact page.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the type of furniture, your postcode or area, when you'd like it, and your message.
- What you send by phone or WhatsApp, including photos and measurements of the room.
- Your address and access details, when we measure, deliver or fit.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, measure, quote, make, deliver and fit: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the records that tax law requires: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To count visits with Google Analytics, only if you click "Allow": your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with "Cookie settings".
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them. Photos and videos of finished furniture that we post never show your address.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and Google (Gmail), when you contact us that way.
- Google Analytics and Google Maps, only if you allow them.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a job are deleted within 12 months. Records of jobs and payments are kept for as long as tax law requires, usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it: call or WhatsApp 07731 490361, or use the contact form. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
